Cris Carter, the ex-Eagles WR, was hilarious on Inside the NFL this week. When Cris Collinsworth posed the following question: should the Detriot Lions tank the rest of the season to ensure they get the #1 pick in the 2007 draft and the rights to draft Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn....He could be the franchise QB the Lions so desperately need, plus he practically the "hometown hero" cause ND isn't far away.
Dan Marino was like, "what professional athlete is going tank it?" Carter was better, he said if the Lions win another game their entire front office should be FIRED...his advice to the Lions wide receivers, "If you get open FALL DOWN." He might have been being facetious but its good advice nonetheless....
